Introduction
I2C was developed by Philips as a low-cost way to connect peripheral chips in consumer electronics products and is widely adopted in embedded systems.
Many devices, including temperature sensors, control panels, microcontrollers, and single board prototyping systems incorporate multiple I2C interfaces for easy chip-to-chip and inter-module communications.
I2C waveforms can be decoded with PicoScope: From the "Tools" menu select "Serial Decoding" then "Create" and select I2C from the list of available protocols.
